Paul is a tax lawyer who founded his own tax law firm in France at the beginning of 2015 after having worked for almost 20 years for global tax firms in the Netherlands (5 years) and France (15 years).
He is a Dutch national and studied international tax law at the Leiden university in the Netherlands. He is specialized in cross-border employment related issues from a tax, social security and HR perspective (Global Mobility or Expat Tax specialist).
Paul has a wide range of experience with multinational companies in optimizing their tax and social security costs for expatriates. He ensures that clients and their expats are compliant with local tax, international tax and social security legislations. In addition, he can assist clients with designing and implementing of international assignment policies (structuring remuneration packages, drafting secondment contracts, preparation of annual tax equalisation calculations, etc).
